A modified PVC (polyvinyl chloride) film is typically produced by general extrusion, which involves melting the material and pushing it through a die. Due to the material makeup of vinyl sheet piling, it is relatively inexpensive compared to its equivalents.

As with steel and metal piling, vinyl sheet piling can be manufactured in various configurations. Vinyl sheet pile is most commonly in the form of Z-sheets, which have interlocking male and female strips as in other materials.

If project requirements demand, the product can be manufactured with an integrated gasket. It is also especially engineered to address the increasing demands of clients for a high degree of water-tightness by employing a specialized tightening solution based on the use of gaskets. The profile is equipped with soft PVC gaskets which are co-extruded into the interlocks during the manufacturing process. The shape and size of PVC gaskets depend on the type of vinyl sheet piles. Ecoseal PESC-24 is an excellent product for environmental protection, sealing contaminated areas, combating seepage and piping, and flood control infrastructure.

Extruded Gasket
